The anatomical and morphological studies of the Kitagawiabaicalensis (Redow. ex Willd.) Pimenov have been investigated by means of light microscopy for potential applying this specie in the official medicine. The diagnostic characters of radices have been revealed for the determination of the authenticity of raw materials and possible impurities.
