Underwriting as a tool for the development of the Russian stock market

In the field of financial relations, the quantity and quality of services provided by domestic firms still lag far behind developed European countries. The main reasons for this are considered to be low infrastructure development and relatively little experience in the stock markets (personal experience is not too great, and foreign is introduced at a fairly slow pace). In this regard, new investment instruments and technologies, such as securities underwriting, should be improved. The article discusses the adverse factors inherent in the development of the Institute of underwriting in Russia, examines the likely ways to overcome the difficulties of using underwriting in the Russian stock market.
