Anglicisms in the Russian language (based on dictionary data)

The article deals with anglicisms of the modern Russian language which are extracted from dictionary entries of on-line dictionaries. All selected loanwords are grouped in semantic fields based on the lexical-semantic analysis. The article considers the frequency of semantic fields as a whole and the most frequent of them are analyzed. The functioning of anglicisms in examined fields of works is revealed. The results are supplied with illustrative examples from the dictionary.
