English tourism discourse and its grammatical features

The article outlines the grammatical features of the English tourist discourse. The author analyzes the morphological and syntactic levels of tourist texts. The basic constructions characteristic for tourist texts in English are identified and described. The author comes to the conclusion that all grammatical means are aimed at the realization of the strategic goal of tourist discourse to provide a persuasive effect on the recipient of the advertising text.
