The animation activities as a means of students' tolerance formation in artistic education (by an example of the course- project "From the brief tale to the great heart")

This article considers the issue of tolerance formation as the primary quality of the personality, which is determining the adapta- tion success of the individual to a multicultural environment, the development success of the humanist society as a whole and it is one of the major issues of education, the artistic education among other things. The article author is noted that ensuring accustom university students to the values of global and national culture, ethnic culture, the artistic education is providing awareness of the historical past of the country and its contemporary realities, it is also a unique means for transmission in modern society of the best regional and nationwide folk traditions, which are influencing to the spiritual sphere development, as a specific personality, and the society, generally. The contributor has developed and tested the course-project “From the brief tale to the great heart”, which is directed on students' tolerance formation in the process of artistic education by the means of animation activities, based on the study of “the Narts” epos of the peoples of the North Caucasus.
