Interleukin-1 antagonist receptor and subclinical organ damage at patients with arterial hypertension combined with metabolic syndrome

Research objective was to reveal the change in level of interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1 (ra)) at traditional risk factors and subclinical organ damage in arterial hypertension (AH) in combination with metabolic syndrome. 48 male patients at age from 35 till 56 years have been surveyed. High levels of cytokine IL-1 (ra), characterizing inflammatory process, take place at patients with AH in combination with metabolic syndrome, which obligatory displays were abdominal adiposity and hyper hypertriglyceridemia. At patients with AH activation of inflammatory process, possibly, is a marker of vascular remodeling processes and promotes formation of atherosclerotic lesions in brachiocephalic vessels.
