Antibacterial properties of extracts of some healing herbs from Baikal region

The impact of extracts of healing plants of the Baikal region on the growth of pathogenic, conditionally pathogenic microorganisms and bacterial strains - producers of eubiotik was investigated. The antibiotic activity of studied extracts differed both with the width of the spectrum of action and expressiveness of effect, and the nature of influence on the growth of microorganisms. Besides, the substances capable to suppress activity of grampositive and gram-negative bacteria contained in all extracts. The comparison of a range of antimicrobial activities to qualitative characteristics of the studied medicines has shown that primary antibacterial effect of plant extracts with a considerable excretion of watersoluble polysaccharides had (Phlomis Tuberosa (Sage-leaf mullein) and Inula Helenium (Elf dock) and pyronin-γ connections (Gentianopsis barbata, Scutellaria baicalensis) though their beneficial effect on norm flora was noted at the same medicines.
