The author analyzes the religious elements in the Classical teaching models and the theory and practice of Jewish education, which are considered in the context of the formation of the Christian upbringing and education. The latter reflects a fundamentally new religious-eschatological perspective of human life and stimulating of social and cultural transcoding including changes in rational traditions (in theory), in image of a person's actions (in practice) and, as a consequence, in the emergence of new motivational aspects of education (pedagogy). As a result, in the 6-9th centuries we observe building a new Christian (Scholastic) educational paradigm with the Christian worldview, rationalistic scientific tradition and the idea of systemic productive knowledge as its basic constituents.
