The article examines the anti-corruption campaigns in the People’s Republic of China under Xi Jinping’s leadership from 2012 to 2024. It outlines the measures implemented to strengthen party discipline and establish innovative anti-corruption mechanisms. The author highlights the role of institutional reforms and legal frameworks in creating a centralized and efficient system of state control. The study underscores the integration of modern information technologies to detect and prevent corruption, which enhances the efficiency and transparency of governance. During the initial phase (2012-2017) of combating corruption in China under Xi Jinping, the campaigns emphasized introducing anti-corruption measures across various government levels, increasing penalties for violations, strengthening international cooperation for the extradition of fugitives and recovery of stolen assets, applying educational practices to promote integrity, and creating a robust legislative and institutional foundation. Key developments included establishing the State Supervision Committee and redefining the powers of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection to improve accountability and enforcement. In the subsequent anti-corruption phase (2018-2024), the focus shifted to consolidating these mechanisms into a unified system. Efforts are directed at refining inspection processes, strengthening anti-bribery measures, and utilizing advanced technological tools to enhance monitoring and enforcement. The campaigns demonstrate a commitment to institutionalizing anti-corruption measures as a core component of China's anti-corruption reforms. The article concludes that these initiatives reflect a sustainable and systematic approach to combating corruption in the PRC. This comprehensive strategy not only addresses immediate challenges but also integrates anti-corruption efforts into China’s broader governance model, ensuring long-term effectiveness and stability.
