Antimicrobial and burns healing activity of lipid fraction obtained from the fruit body of Fomitopsis of-ficinalis is studied. The effectiveness of the antimicrobial action is evaluated by the method based on the ability of Fomitopsis' lipids to diffuse into the agar, infected with test cultures of microorganisms and to inhibit the growth of the latter. A significant antimicrobial action of Fomitopsis' compounds against St. aureus, St. epidermidis Wood-46, Shigella sonnei, etc. is determined. The wound healing activity of lipid fraction in comparison with the control on the model of thermal back skin injury of rats is found.
