Antioxidants in the treatment of patients with male reproductive system inflammatory disorders complicated by excretory-toxic form of infertility

63 men aged from 22 to 48 years underwent assessment and treatment. Patients suffered from chronic urethritis, chronic prostatitis, chronic vesiculitis, chronic epididymitis complicated by excretory-toxic infertility. After all examinations, patients were divided into two groups. In the control group traditional therapy (etiotropic antibiotics, NSAIDs, alpha-blockers) was administrated. In the main group, men additionally took BAA “AndrokompleksSV”, the antioxidant complex, as a pathogenetically substantiated therapy of pathological oxidative stress, which is a universal pathogenetic factor of male infertility. The use of BAA " AndrokompleksSV " as a source of antioxidants in patients with male reproductive system inflammatory disorders complicated by excretory-toxic infertility increases the proportion of morphologically normal forms of spermatozoa by 1.5 times, while their concentration and the proportion of spermatozoa with progressive motility (A + B) increased twofold or more.
