Anthropogenic transformation of ground beetles’ population (Coleoptera, Carabidae) in Priamurye forests

Бесплатный доступ

Changes in the population of the ground beetles of the original Primorye forests on the course of their anthropogenic transformation up to the complete destruction have been studied. The forests openings display the reacher ground beetles’ fauna, than the original forests associations. Degradations of the forests attract the beetles of the early succession stages, while the typical inhabitans of the forests decline in the number. The share of plant-eating ground beetles rises on the area of the degraded forests; the opposite is true for the predatious species.
