Antropogenic influence on community of zooplankton of river Old Sura (Penza)

The present study is devoted to the study of the community of zooplankton of the river Old Sura for the purpose of identification of influence of factory «Majak» on the ecological status and water quality. During the period of research revealed 34 species and forms of zooplankter. The sewage of the «Mayak» factory exerts a depressing effect on zooplanktonocenosis. However, at a distance of 700 m from the release, it is restored.
