Anthropogenous pollution of the urban environment by cadmium and nickel and its possible influence on the development of multiple sclerosis

For the first time it was carried out the research of cadmium and nickel content in urban environment on the possible participation in development of multiple sclerosis in the population of Saratov. It was carried out the research of cadmium and nickel content in biosubstrata of patients with multiple sclerosis and environment. It is established that increase of cadmium and nickel in objects of urban environment correlates with indicators of multiple sclerosis incidence. High level of environmental pollution by cadmium and nickel promotes development of multiple sclerosis in susceptible groups of the population.
