The aim of the study is to identify changes in the anthropology of traditional Tuvan culture, which occur under the influence of factors of historical development. It is found that in modern times, traditional cultures contain a contradictory set of archaic views, new interpretations that arise in the process of modernization and globalization. The boundary state of T uvan culture between the Western and Eastern worldview is determined. It is concluded that the consistent transmission of tradition is interrupted by new forms of worldview. Thus, the naturalistic picture of the world is analyzed by people in the system of a rational worldview, which opposes the integral self-identification of representatives of traditional culture. The necessity of a detailed identification of the meanings of traditional cultures in order to understand the actual semantics is revealed. The absence of subject studies revealing the anthropology of Tuvan culture is uncovered, which led to gaps and a paradoxical understanding of the human phenomenon in modern conditions.
