Anthropozoomorphs of the Kelermes sword: in search of iconographic analogies

This paper analyzes iconographie analogies stylistically similar to theimages on the scabbard of the Kelermes sword by examining 31 glyptic items (cylinderseals and stamp seals). The analysis findings suggest that iconographic images similarto the Kelermes images were quite popular at the end of 2000-1000 BC because oftheir replication on mass produced items such as seals and a popularity of the imageprogram.
