The article describes peculiar features of appellate jurisdiction in Tudor and Early Stuart England and the rise of a specific appellate institution - the Court of Delegates. Several parliament acts regulating its activities are highly important source for the reconstruction of the contemporaries' ideas about the essence of the royal sovereignty in the Early Stuart England.
