The apocryphal story of Christ's Passion: some questions of structure and poetics

The article deals with the structure and poetics of the apocryphal novel The Passion of the Christ. The author compares the existing lists of the story, determining the difference between the apocryphal literature and the sacred gospel text. There are two ways of developing the text of the Passion of Christ: the approach of the story to the circle of the life and church literature, and, on the other hand, the rapprochement with folklore.
