The apostle of free education (by the 160th birthday anniversary of K. N. Wentzel)

K. N. Wentzel (1857-1947) was the most distinguished representative of free education in Russia. The main idea of K. N. Wentzel was to free society through the liberation of a child by providing him with the opportunity to develop freely and self-actualize since a very early age. He considered freedom as the main goal, the main method and the main condition for the child’s upbringing.
