Research objective: to create and approve new national methodological recommendations that would standardize and establish unified rules for medical physicists to perform dosimetric measurements on X-ray therapy devices devices. Materials and methods. Four types of dosimetric measurements developed on the basis of international protocols were tested. Half-value layers, absolute absorbed dose for all available "mode- applicator" combinations, beam reproducibility and timer error were measured. Results. Obtained measurement results show the high informativeness of the proposed methods for the dosimetric certification of the X-ray therapy devices. Conclusions. The set of measurements, measuring instruments, additional auxiliary devices proposed in the protocol and standard conditions of these measurements are necessary for the dosimetric certification of X-ray therapy devices.
