Archaeozoological materials from the pit grave culture burials of the Samara volga region and Orenburg region

The article represents the new archaeozoological materials which have been found recently in the Samara Volga and Orenburg regions. The detailed analysis of the animal skeletal remains revealed a complex semantics of the burial rituals. The authors identify some complexes of the skeletal remains: the remains of sacrificial altars, of the funeral feasts, the parts of the grave goods etc.
