The article is devoted to the analysis of the architectonics of consumer society through the identification and functioning of its main components. It is emphasized that consumption plays a key role in the formation of modern society, determining its social structure, cultural values and individual behavioral patterns. The paper examines the genesis of the concept of "consumer society", emphasizes its multidimensional nature. In the context of the analysis of socio-economic processes, this term is used to describe the global trend of human development. The work also differentiates approaches to understanding the essence of consumer society that have developed in modern philosophy. Criticism of the consumer society concerns the negative environmental consequences of mass production of goods and increased social inequality.
