The article is devoted to the consideration of the process of transformation of the system of architectural design training in a regional technical university, the completed transition to a three-tier system of higher professional education. The influence of various factors (self-presentation, self-regulation, etc.) on the process of preparing designers of buildings and various structures is investigated.
