Humanity faces an enormous threat of widespread social and economic crises, natural disasters, and pandemics posed by gradual extinction of nature. Despite the fact that the theme of transition to sustainable development, announced by the UN in 1992, has temporarily lost its relevance due to recent events, in the future it will remain on the agenda of individual municipalities, regions, countries, continents and our planet as a whole, at least until the creation of conditions for the sustainable development of administrative-territorial entities becomes a permanent practice of all economic entities that participate in the processes of environmental management in one way or another, and, first of all, local and national government bodies, as well as international organizations. Urban fetishization in the architectural world has turned the countryside into Terra Incognita. At the same time, the future of agriculture, driven by the Internet of Things, agricultural sensors, and farm drones, is looming under the influence of digital globalization. Agriculture is becoming intelligent, and precision farming is becoming the norm. Architecture of a village, based on a precise land balance, reveals the optimal functional relationships and features of energy and mass transfer. Historical and foreign experience shows that the aesthetics of cyber villages as developmental sites should be associated with emphasizing natural patterns and improving communicative connections.
