The article is devoted to the problem of uneven distribution of recreational potential and its influence on the efficiency of activities of enterprises in the recreational sphere. The development of some sub-regions is marked by higher performance indicators of enterprises relative to other sub-regions of Crimea. This state of affairs can develop as a result of the uneven distribution of the recreational potential and its territorial concentration. So, for example, the recreational potential of Big Yalta is about 20% of the potential of the Crimea with the occupied area of 1.1% of the region. The work examines the territorial concentration of the recreational potential and its influence on the efficiency of activities of enterprises in the recreational sphere. As a correlation with the territorial concentration, the return on total capital is used, which characterizes the efficiency of using all the assets of the enterprise and does not depend much on the quality of financial management. As a result of the study, one can note a higher efficiency of enterprises in sub-regions with a higher concentration of potential. The territorial concentration of potential characterizes unequal conditions for the development of enterprises in the subregions. As a result, Big Yalta, Big Alushta and Feodosia are developing at a faster pace than other sub-regions of the Republic of Crimea.
