Asymmetry of regulatory mechanisms of postural control of imitating poses at top-level wrestlers of greek-roman style

Preferred stance of the wrestler is an example of organization of position human control, reflecting the individual characteristics of functional interhemispheric asymmetry of the brain. However, the laws of formation of the stance subject to lateralization of spatial topography of the lower extremities of an athlete (in projection on a horizontal plane) have not been studied. This paper presents the results of the static stability study of top level wrestlers of Greco-Roman style, preferring left and right hand stance. Studies were conducted with the help of bilateral computer stabilography under conditions of simulation of the preferred and alternative stances, against the impact of disturbing factors: the maximum rotation of the head (due to the rotation of the cervical spine) to the left and to the right sides with eyes open and maximum deviation of the look to the left, to the right and up. This paper reflects the results of studies of the phenomenon of functional asymmetry, as one of the main backbone factors of spatiotemporal implementation of wrestler fighting stance. It presents new data on the compensatory capacities of the postural system of person professionally engaged in one of the types of martial arts, as well as the degree of postural compensations depending on the lateral organization of vertical stance of an athlete. The findings of the experiment data is theoretically and methodologically grounded and correspond to the results of previous studies. Materials of the research can be used in the training process of preparation of highly skilled wrestlers as methodological recommendations in improving the technical and tactical skills in a competitive bout.
