In the response on the book review by V. Yu. Darensky “The Paradigm of Human Transformation in Russian Philosophy of the 20th Century” (2018) the review highlights the main ideas of the book, which are valuable innovations in modern approaches to the history of Russian philosophy and understanding of its specifics. It is noted that the methodology proposed by the author for analyzing the “paradigm of transformation” as the “core” of the Russian philosophical tradition itself is a completely justified point of view, which allowed the author to give a capacious description of the main focus and style of Russian philosophical discourse. The biographical context of the author and his philosophy is indicated.
