Aspects of the methodology for assessment region's export potential

The article presents the results of analysis of the main methods of assessment of the export potential of the region represented by both foreign and domestic researchers. The comparative characteristic of the test methods with the release of the evaluation criteria. Finally, conclusions about the appropriateness of currently analyzed techniques and shows effective tools for assessing the export potential of the region.
