Theoretical achievements in describing the language-culture-personality interaction and prospects of their application

The article raises the issues of cross-cultural communication and summarizes the achievements of linguists in such sphere of modern science as linguo-culturology. The concept of national mentality, as well as the ways of revealing the specificity of the national linguistic world view, is given through the prism of modern scientific research, the results of which were presented at the XIII Congress of MAPRYAL (the International Association of the Teachers of the Russian Language and Literature) in Granada, Spain.
