Aspects of ensuring economic security by internal affairs bodies in the field of gas production and transportation

Based on the analysis of the current legislation, scientific literature and official documents, the article discusses certain problems related to ensuring the economic security of the Russian gas industry. Materials and methods: the normative basis of the study is the current regulatory legal acts; the methodological basis is deduction, induction, the general dialectical method of scientific knowledge, systemic, logical, formal legal methods of research, analysis, synthesis and generalization. The results of te study: the main ideas for solving certain practical problems are presented in the form of an analysis of the current legislation and a review of the current state of the operational situation in the gas industry of the fuel and energy complex of the Russian Federation, which is characterized by very high rates of registered economic and corruption crimes, as well as proposals for a legal (regulatory)) and organizational nature. Findings and Conclusions: a reasonable conclusion is made about the effectiveness of the implementation of a large-scale set of measures to decriminalize the Russian gas industry by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in cooperation with interested ministries and departments.
