Assymetricity in international monetary systems

This article examines the different types of asymmetries that exist in international financial systems. The international monetary system is characterized by the problem of asymmetry, in which the national currency of a country acts as an international currency. Asymmetry problems are of a different nature, but the basis of their occurrence is the same: the national currency plays the role of an international currency, which means that there is a clash of interests between the issuing state and the international economy.
