The article considers the issues of the borrowings assimilation in the context of Russian bilingualism of Tatar. The results obtained in the course of the analysis can be used in the process of teaching English, Russian, and Tatar languages as well as in the development of special courses in lexicology, cultural linguistics, gender linguistics, etc. The article contains ready-to-use material, which can be used in teaching Russian as a foreign language, in the course of teaching a foreign language at school that will help students better understand the national and cultural peculiarities of the native speakers of the target language.
