Associative field of national character in Russian and Chinese linguistic worldviews

The article discusses the associative field of “national character” in Russian and Chinese linguistic worldviews. The research focuses on the analysis of responses, obtained through an associative experiment from Russian and Chinese participants. The results of the experiment allow us to elicit the main cognitive parameters of the concept “national character” and to describe the typical representations that are enshrined in the minds of Russian and Chinese respondents.
