Associative links of the components of the lexico-semantic group elevation / highland in Russian and German languages

The article contains the analysis of associations with words which denote "elevation / highland". The responses were elicited from native Russian and German speakers with the help of association experiment. In the course of study differences and similarities of associations with corresponding words were detected which reflect universal and specific elements in landscape perception.
