Annotation of the article. The authors argumentatively offer new insight into the quality management system of enrichment of iron ore in this article. It is known that the quality of the ore coming from the quarry affects the producing a concentrate technological process efficiency, in particular, such quality metrics as hardness, moisture content and particle size on crushing stage and mineralogical composition на enriching stage. Changes in these metrics occur from batch to batch, that determines metrics changing rate. It is impossible to solve the crushing and enrichment quality control problem at the level of APCS (automated process control system). Improving the APCS in this area has not produced significant results today as experience shows. The authors key idea - the creation of crushing and enrichment intelligent quality control system as the add-on APCS.
