Audit of staff''s intellectual potential as a tool of business development

The article investigates such a current trend of the modern management as the management of personnel’s intellectual potential. The authors consider such categories as intellectual capital of a company and its structure, personnel’s intellectual capital, and audit of personnel’s intellectual potential by case study of one company. The authors emphasize the importance of goal setting of the intellectual potential audit prior to its implementation. The paper describes the methods used in the audit of the company’s intellectual potential, such as interviewing, knowledge elicitation, self-assessment, manager’s evaluation, colleagues’ evaluation, and so on.
