Autoaggressive and psychological characteristics of the wives of men alcoholics with a history of suicidal activity

The article studies the influence of presence of suicidal activity in men suffering from alcohol dependence on suicidal indexes, personal-codependent and experimental-psychological specifications of their wives. It has been found out that women married to «suicidal» men suffering from alcohol dependence as distinct from wives of «non-suicidal» men suffering from alcohol dependence authentically show suicidal activity more frequently (phenomenon of suicidal matrimonial comorbidity). They also reveal non-suicidal behavioral patterns more frequently and prosuicidal predictors are quite common in them. This contingent of women has high suicidal potential, so they should be given careful attention during therapeutic work.
