Autoimmune comorbidity in endocrinology: thyroiditis and type 1 diabetes mellitus in children

Autoimmune thyroid disease and type 1 diabetes mellitus (DM1) often occur simultaneously, especially among children. Due to the lack of scientific data in the Kyrgyz Republic (KR), this report aims to study the relationship between type 1 diabetes and autoimmune thyroiditis by studying influencing factors such as gender, age, and duration of diabetes.
