This article discusses the use of outplacement as a method of effective release of the organization's personnel in conditions of uncertainty and crisis. The authors present analytical data on the use of outplacement in foreign countries and in Russia, including on the example of large cities of the Russian Federation, and highlight the main problems, which include the imperfect legislative framework of outplacement. In the course of the study, the authors presented data from Russian consulting companies providing services in the field of outplacement, and it is noted that due to its use, organizations have the opportunity to fulfill their key needs for survival, security and stability, which increases the trust of society, employees, customers and contributes to the creation of a positive image of the company.
