The article examines the impact of automation of business processes on the efficiency of personnel in various sectors of the economy. The indicators of the use of digital technologies and broadband Internet access in organizations for the period 2021-2022 are analyzed. It is revealed that the most active implementation of digital technologies is observed in the trade sector (growth in the use of big data from 32.3 % to 57.1 %) and the information sector (growth from 32.9 % to 41.3 %). Furthermore, a significant increase in the share of high-speed internet was identified in the trade sector, rising from 16.6 % to 28.7 %, and in the information sector, where it increased from 24.9 % to 26.7 %. However, an analysis of the labor productivity index showed that a significant increase in efficiency is observed only in the construction industry (from 100.0 to 103.8 %), despite more moderate indicators of digitalization. This indicates that there is no direct correlation between the level of automation and labor productivity growth. The results of the study highlight the necessity for a more balanced approach to the implementation of digital technologies, taking into account the specific characteristics of each industry.
