The article discusses current approaches to the automation of quality management methods and tools at the design and development stages of products and processes. The necessity of transition from traditional, paper-based and disparate quality management to end-to-end digital solutions providing integration of engineering, technological and production data is substantiated. Special attention is paid to the automation of key tools such as APQP, FMEA, control maps and rationing of technological operations. The limitations of existing practices and the advantages of digital platforms that ensure traceability, accelerate development, reduce risks, and improve interaction between project participants are analyzed. Modular software is offered, including such tools as DFMEA, process fl ow diagram, PFMEA, management plan, digital passport. The main stages of the software module implementation, its functionality and advantages in the context of product quality improvement are considered. It is concluded that automation of quality tools at the early stages of the product lifecycle is a critical condition for improving the effi ciency and competitiveness of a modern industrial enterprise.
