The article considers an actual problem of modern culturology: interrelation of the author and the models or the author and the audience in the art of photography. The author of the article selects R. Barthes and М. Bakhtin as interlocutors developing the narrative reflection as a dialog. The author considers the act of photographing from two points of view: from within and from the outside. In the process of narration the author turns into a participant, and the distance of view turns into a distance of residence. A plastic model becomes a double of a photographer. Sequence of processes depicted in photography develops into creation of stereospace similar to a dialog or a polylog in other arts.
