Author’s remuneration: disputes with employees - authors of official results of intellectual activity

The article discusses current issues of calculation and payment of royalties for protected results of intellectual activity. Numerous legal disputes about the amount and conditions of such payments indicate an ambiguous approach and understanding of this problem both by employers - holders of exclusive rights, and by employees - authors of inventions, utility models, industrial designs and other intellectual property. The author offers practice-tested recommendations for normalizing relations between employers and employees when calculating and paying royalties.
