Motor transport logistics in the system of transport and logistics services: solving problems of urban cargo transportation

The aim of the work is to study the role of trucking logistics in the system of urban freight movements in the conditions of limited throughput of interurban highways. Particular attention was paid to the study of the potential of logistics centers within the city. Based on the results of the study, a proposal was justified for creating a system of intercepting parking lots for commercial vehicles in the parking lots of logistics centers, followed by the distribution of goods by a light commercial vehicle fleet based on the principles of sharing and regulation of the duration of such vehicles on the city streets during the working day, taking into account carbon dioxide emissions.
