Azerbaijan-Russia relations: the new priorities

The paper considered the main areas of Azerbaijani-Russian relations. The study explored various aspects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia and identified new priorities in recent years with regard to reviving contacts between the two countries on varying levels. According to the outcomes, the study mentioned that Azerbaijan has achieved an intense level of trade and economic cooperation with two members of the EAEC, and strengthening that trend may result in complementary economies of Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. The membership in the EAEC would give the Republic additional marketing opportunities to sell their own non-primary products. Involvement of Azerbaijan and Armenia into the integrated economic area engages for brand-new opportunities to settle the Karabakh dispute.
