In this work, the cyanosphere of monocultures of cyanobacteria belonging to genera Nostoc, Calothrix, and Tychonema is studied for the first time using high-throughput sequencing. We isolated cyanobacterial monocultures from freshwater lakes of Cis-Baikalia — Kotokel and Dikoye, which are subject to adverse environmental changes. Most sequences of heterotrophic bacteria belong to five phyla: Proteobacteria, Actinobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes, and Verrucomicrobia. Their relative abundance vary across the monocultures. The bacterial community of the Nostoc is dominated by unclassified bacteria of the genus Phreatobacter; the Calothrix monoculture is dominated by unclassified bacteria of the genera Brevundimonas, Microbacterium and the order Bacillales, and the Tychonema monoculture is dominated by unclassified bacteria of the genera Flavobacterium and Microbacterium.
