Bacteriobenthos of the lake Aslykul in 2010, 2012 (Bashkortostan)

The results of the first microbiological studies of bottom sediments in different biotopes of lake Aslykul - pelagial, littoral and macrophytes (phytal) are presented. The structural organization of bacterial communities was studied in four sediment types, identified in ecosystem of the lake, which are sand, gray silt, aleuric sediments and macrophyte silt. The total abundance of bacteria ranged from 1,16 to 4,93 × 109 cells/ml, biomass - from 79,0 to 757,3 mkg/ml. Quantitative development of bacteriobenthic population is defined by size of the mechanical structure, the type of bottom sediments аnd by the nature of the habitat. The morphological and dimensional structure of bacteriobenthos variates in different types of the bottom sediments.
