Bacteriosis of the small cattle in Irkutsk region

The estimation of epizootic situation of bacterial infectious diseases of small ruminants in the territory of Irkutsk region for the period from 2004 to 2011 Research conducted at the Irkutsk interregional veterinary laboratory. It is established that for the current period was recorded in animals streptococcosis, staphylococcus, escherichiosis, pasteurellosis, infectious enterotoxemia; in addition, identified seropositive animals for brucellosis and contagious epididymitis. The incidence of small cattle were: pasteurellosis is 3,5 ± 1,90; streptococcosis and 2,5 ± 1,60; stafilokoccosis and 1,9 ± 1,10; escherichiosis and 1,7 ± 0,40; infectious enterotoxemia - 0,1 ± 0,09 per 100 thousand population respectively. Small cattle revealed a positive growth in the incidence of E. coli and streptococcosis of 50,8% and 27,9%, respectively; negative growth rates in the incidence of staphylococcosis, pasteurellosis and infectious enterotoxemia. Index epizootically on bacterial diseases of small ruminants in the analyzed period amounted to 0,50 (streptococcosis), 0,38 (escherichiosis, staphylococcosis), 0,25 (pasteurellosis) and 0,13 (pseudomonosis, infectious enterotoxemia).
