Ballet in the context of religious and philosophical quests of the Silver Age

The article attempts to examine one of the characteristic features of culture of the silver age - the penetration of religious-philosophical teachings in all spheres of the cultural process as a system - through the prism of the development of Russian ballet of the late XIX - early XX centuries, the Author provides examples of major productions of the silver age in the context of the spiritual quest of this period. It is the ballet, as one of the cultural forms, has become a factor overcome many of the crisis, which was oversaturated era and in particular the poetry of the symbolists. The apocalyptic mood of the era, the sickness of the spirit broke in the ballet, having absorbed them only indirectly, indirectly.
