The article examines the current activities of the Baltic Assembly at the present stage, in particular its position vis-a-vis Russia. The Baltic Assembly is considered in the study as an example of minilateral state cooperation. As a result, the study concludes that the foreign policy of the Baltic Assembly towards Russia has hardly changed over the past twenty years. Countries see Russia as a potential aggressor whose proximity poses a threat to their security. The activities of the association itself are more formal and protocol-based at this stage. The functioning of the institution does not help to build a constructive relationship with Russia. The documents resulting from the meetings of the Baltic Assembly declare only the abstract theses of the countries in relation to Russia and do not envisage concrete measures for establishing a dialogue with it.
